The Philippine representative to the Miss International 2013 pageant won the crown during the pageant night on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, in Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo City, Japan.
She bested equally beautiful candidates from around the world with her Filipina beauty and intelligence.
Her speech during the Top 5 was honest and direct to the point.
The whole world saw how my country suffered. One by one, other countries helped. You have opened my heart and eyes on what we can do to help each other. I will work to sustain the spirit of sympathy and spirit of hope. As long as we work together, there is hope.
Miss International is our third title this year, after Mutya Datul won Miss Supranational 2013, and Megan Young was crowned Miss World 2013.
Filipina beauties indeed rule the world.
