Justin Bieber is love. The Canadian pop superstar performed exclusive for kid survivors of super typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
The 19-year-old singer arrived (almost secretly) in the country on Tuesday morning via a private plane. He then went to Tacloban for “the last #believetour show.”
Before he performed, Justin took to Twitter to tell his followers that he is about to perform the last and the most important show of his Believe tour.
“About to go perform the last #believetour show. The real last one and the most important one of the tour. #GiveBackPhilippines,” he posted.
The show in Perth over the weekend was supposed to be the last in the tour. After the concert, though, the singer tweeted: “not realizing the #believetour is over. amazing run. Thanks for all the memories. I got one more show left though :) gotta end it right.”
Since he’s trying to raise funds for the typhoon victims in the Philippines, many have immediately guessed that he’s talking about the country as the venue of his last Believe show. And they’re right.
According to an ANC report, the mini concert was held at the City Central school in Tacloban City and only the kid survivors were allowed to enter as Justin wanted it exclusively for kids. He was seen hugging the kids and talking to them during the event.
He won’t be staying long, though. Reports say he’s staying for only a day before he heads for Saipan.
Thank you, Justin Bieber, for showing love to the Philippines.
