ABS-CBN’s current affairs program “My Puhunan” helps a family devastated by typhoon Yolanda get back on track by giving them an opportunity to start their own business this Wednesday (Dec 18) on ABS-CBN.
“My Puhunan” anchor Karen Davila will introduce Crispin and Lorna Macenda, who are currently living with their kids in Villamor Airbase as evacuees, to businessman Luke Macababbad to give them inspiration to rise from the devastating tragedy and put up a business.
Luke started producing and selling honey wine in in his own backyard in 2001. Now, his company already makes over 40,000 bottles of honey wine sold in different flavors every year.
With PinoyME Foundation, “My Puhunan” will also help the family find a new shelter, as well as a source of income that’s fit for them.
Doris Bigornia will also give kids who were affected by Yolanda a Christmas they will never forget in “Mutya ng Masa” tomorrow (Dec 17).
Doris will make them happy by making them meet and watch the concert of their idol, popstar princess Sarah Geronimo. Aside from that, “Mutya ng Masa” will also prepare a Christmas party for them with the kiddie cast of “Goin’ Bulilit.”
