Angel Locsin admitted her surprise when she learned about her former boyfriend Phil Younghusband’s pep.ph interview where he said that he’s still in love with her.
According to the actress, Phil hasn’t told her about his feelings despite the fact that they have constant communication.
“Sana nasabi niya muna sa akin nang diretso, hindi ‘yung sa media. Pero wala naman isyu. Baka open lang talaga siya. Nagulat lang ako,” she told the entertainment press at the Anak TV Awards on Thursday, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com. “Right now kasi, hindi naman kami kasi nag-uusap tungkol sa bagay na ‘yon. So kung mag-uusap, mag-uusap. Kung hindi, hindi.”
But is she willing to give the Philippine Azkals striker another chance?
“Hindi ko alam, kasi mas kayo pa ang kumakausap sa akin tungkol dito sa bagay na ‘to kaysa sa kanya. So hindi ko alam kung ano ang isasagot ko,” she said.
She also added that she just wants to rest her mind.
“Sa ngayon kasi gusto ko lang muna magpahinga. Ang hirap! Alam niyo naman ‘yan, ‘di ba, pag galing ka ng break tapos iisipin mo na naman ‘yung magkakabalikan... Ayoko guluhin ang utak ko, ayoko ng mind games, ayoko ng anything,” she said.
When pep.ph interviewed Phil regarding his rumored budding romance with KC Concepcion, the athlete was quoted as saying: “I love Angel that's why… I'm still in love with Angel, so... Angel is the only one I’m thinking about on my lonesome.”
