Dawn Zulueta confirmed that she indeed turned down a movie project that was supposed to be the comeback film of her love team with Richard Gomez.
Their fans need not worry, though, because according to the actress, she’s just waiting for the right material for their reunion movie.
“It would have been a wonderful project,” she told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday night at the sidelines of the Kapamilya Network’s Kwento Ng Pasko concert. “It’s a wonderful cast, a great director. Pero parang siguro maghihintay na lang ako. Kung magiging comeback movie namin as a love team ni Richard, ibang material na lang.”
Richard, however, will still be doing the said movie, albeit with a different leading lady. Dawn was replaced by Gretchen Barretto for the role.
“Oo [Gretchen replaced me]. Pero okay lang iyon kasi it could have been anyone naman. I’m sure they are going to do fine. Each character in the role is very interesting to portray, so they should be just fine,” she said.
Meanwhile, Richard and Dawn are doing another television series together that is set to air during the early part of 2014.
Titled You’re My Home, the teleserye also stars Shaina Magdayao, Cherry Pie Picache, Iza Calzado, Ella Cruz, Francis Magundayao, and Enchong Dee.
