Xian Lim walks out on Jobert Sucaldito

Xian Lim made Jobert Sucaldito so angry when the actor walked out of the Skype interview on Tuesday night, December 10, 2013, on the radio program Mismo.

Jobert’s co-anchor, Ahwel Paz, was at the Smart Araneta Coliseum to cover ABS-CBN’s Kwento Ng pasko concert where he got to interview a number of Kapamilya stars at the sidelines like Dawn Zulueta, KC Concepcion and Robi Domingo to name a few.

Jobert, who was in the studio, gets to interview the stars as well via Skype.

When they were interviewing Xian, however, the actor seemed to have gotten offended by a question from Jobert.

“Hindi mo ba makakasama si Kim [Chiu] ngayong gabi?” Jobert asked.

Xian seemed to have not heard the question so it was repeated for him by Ahwel. “Hindi raw ba kayo magsasama ni Kim tonight?”

The actor reacted negatively to the question, saying, “Ano ba namang tanong ‘yan?”

He then removed his earphone and walked away.

Jobert admitted he was insulted by the rude act. He also described the experience as one of the most memorable in his career as an entertainment journalist.

On Twitter early morning of Thursday, he said:

I had one of the most memorable experiences sa aking career as a journalist and radio/tv host memorable in the sense na nakalusot ang pambabastos sa akin ng starlet na si Xian Lim. Halos mapaiyak ako sa galit while doing my job on-air not because hindi ko siya kaya. Kaya pero nakaramdam ako ng sobrang pagkainsulto mula sa isang taong wala pa namang napatunayan sa industriyang ito.

He then questioned Xian’s masculinity.

Sa totoo lang malamya at mahinhin itong si Xian Lim..I wonder why. Hindi gawain ng isang TUNAY NA LALAKE ang magtaray ng ganun.

Meanwhile, Xian’s handler, Gidget, reportedly forwarded the actor’s message to Jobert via a text message. It reads: “sorry kanina na-offend kita. I meant no disrespect. Magulo at maingay sa paligid. Pasensiya na.”

But Jobert didn’t want to believe that it was the noise that caused the walk out. Xian reacted “ano ba namang tanong ‘yan?” so it meant he understood the question.

On Saturday morning, however, Jobert posted on his Twitter account a message of apology to Xian.

I would like to apologize to Xian Lim and after this sana ay dumami ang followers ko kaya follow niyo na ako mga Jobertnatics!
