Neri Naig returns to acting via ABS-CBN’s upcoming teleserye, The Legal Wife.

The controversial actress took to Instagram on Thursday to post a photo of her with the series’ director, Rory Quintos, and child star Xyriel Manabat.
“Isa sa mga pinaka mabait at pinaka magaling na direktor. Sobra sobrang pasasalamat ko talaga kay Direk Rory sa lahaaaat lahat. Samahan pa ng napakagaling na @manabatxy. Sobrang mahal ko silang dalawa. Excited na ako sa #LegalWife,” she captioned the photo.
The Legal Wife is topbilled by Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales.
It had been a few months since she and her boyfriend, Parokya Ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda, hit the headlines for being the subject of video scandals that surfaced on the internet. The two proved, however, that their love is greater than any scandals. It also somehow paved the way for her return to acting.
In an earlier interview, though, Chito said that offers had been there even before the first video scandal hit the web last August.
“The offers were there before the incident happened. After that she didn't want to work muna but yung mga TV stations na they ask her, parang sinasabi nila na, 'We don't care about that we want you to be in the show no matter how big or small the role is.' They were all very supportive, just like our friends they didn't make an issue out of it,” she was quoted as saying by abs-cbnnews.com.
Chito also revealed in the interview that he plans to marry Neri in the future.
