Yeng Constantino, 24, cannot be tagged as NBSB (No Boyfriend Since Birth) anymore as she now has found the right man to entrust her heart to.
She lightly announced that she now has a boyfriend through an Instagram post last June 26 that showed her with a man she called “love.” Then in a recent interview, she revealed how they met and how he became her boyfriend.
Victor Asuncion is his name, and he’s a worship director at the Victory Christian Fellowship in Greenhills, the same church that Yeng goes to. She met him through a common friend last year and they eventually became good friends as well.
Yeng related how there was a gap when they didn’t see each other for quite some time, then finally realizing their love when they met again.
They met in church, but perhaps another thing that bonds them together aside from their faith is music as Victor is also the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Indios.
Yeng, however, confessed that it’s Victor’s love for God that attracted her the most.
“Nagustuhan ko ‘yung love niya para sa mga tao. When he speaks about malasakit, like kapag nakakakita siya ng mga tao, ‘yun lang gusto niya gawin. He really wants to serve God. ’Yun ang pinakarurok para sa akin kasi naniniwala ako na kapag ang lalaki mahal si God, alam na alam niya kung papaano ka niya mamahalin. Hindi naman siya magiging perpekto, alam ko naman ‘yun eh, kasi tao po ‘yan eh. Pero alam niya kung saan siya babalik kapag sumablay siya.”
