Andre and Kobe Paras, the sons of Benjie Paras with former wife actress Jackie Forster, have been getting a lot of attention since they became visible on television.
Andre, the older of the two, was recently seen showcasing his rap skills in Sunday All Stars. He was also seen being interviewed with Kobe in Startalk.
But will they be joining showbiz sometime soon?
“Okay lang sa akin ‘yung panganay kasi maluwag ang schedule niya. Hindi naman showbiz, pero more on hosting siguro. Kung merong interesado sa dalawa sa showbiz, why not, di ba?” the PBA legend told pep.ph.
He further said that he is currently allowing Andre to accept projects because he is already in college and his schedule permits such. Kobe, on the other hand, is still in high school and has a fixed schedule so he has to wait if he also wanted to be in showbiz. Both Andre and Kobe, however, have already appeared in television commercials.
It seems that his sons are following his footsteps, though. Before playing for the PBA, he also played for University of the Philippines’ Fighting Maroons. Currently, Andre is also playing for UP and Kobe is playing for La Salle Greenhills.
Andre, however, already has a back-up plan after basketball. In his previous interview with Startalk, he said he wanted to be a director and he loves making videos and editing as well.
They have, however, some issues with their biological mom Jackie. According to reports, the two were traumatized by something Jackie did in the past that they still don’t want to talk to her.
