The Coco Martin-starrer Juan Dela Cruz was the leading television program for the month of March 2013 according to the data of Kantar Media.
The action-fantasy series that tells the story of Juan (Coco) who is a half-tagapagbantay and half-aswang has been a hit among televiewers nationwide since it premiered on February 4.
On late March, however, the series was toppled from the top spot by its fellow ABS-CBN primetime series and former number one Ina Kapatid Anak for quite a number of days, but it wasn’t able to affect its overall standing for the month.
Directed by Malu L. Sevilla and Avel E. Sunpongco, Juan Dela Cruz also stars Erich Gonzales as Rosario Galang, Albert Martinez as Samuel Alejandro, Zsa Zsa Padilla as Laura Alejandro, Arron Villaflor as Mikael ‘Kael’ Reyes, Neil Coleta as Asiong, Gina Pareño as Belen Gonzales, and Eddie Garcia as Julian/Jules.
Meanwhile, viewers will surely get more hooked especially that Samuel is already looking for the Tagapagbantay. It would be exciting to find out what he would do if he finds out the Tagapagbantay is his own son.
Juan Dela Cruz airs weeknights after the evening news TV Patrol on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
