Arjo Atayde confessed to Pep.ph that he really did have a conflict with fellow Kapamilya actor Neil Coleta last year because of a girl.
We first saw Arjo act in E-Boy early last year and it was in that series where his feelings grew for co-star Akiko Solon. They had a relationship but their happy days didn’t last that long because, just like in teleseryes, a third party came into the picture and snatched the girl away.
The third party was Neil and Arjo confirmed the fact that the Juan Dela Cruz actor indeed courted Akiko while she was still his girlfriend.
Good thing about it now is that Arjo and Neil have already talked it out and they are now in good terms.
“Okey na. Nagkausap na kami. Bati na po kami,” Arjo said, and added that Neil was the one who reached out and apologized.
As of now, the two of them even exchange greetings whenever they bump into each other, but Arjo admitted that there is still a wall that separates them because of what happened.
The two are both good actors although it seems like Arjo has been given better roles than Neil. As of now, he plays one of the main characters in Dugong Buhay while Neil is still doing supporting roles, currently as Asiong, the best friend of Coco Martin’s character in the hit Juan Dela Cruz.
Recently, Arjo received the Best New Male TV Personality award from the 2012 PMPC Star Awards for TV for his role in the ‘Bangka’ episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. Neil, meanwhile, got the New Movie Actor of the Year award from the 2013 PMPC Star Awards for Movies for his role in I Do Bidoo Bidoo.
