Mario Maurer trends on Twitter; is shirtless sexy on Men's Health China

Mario Maurer trended on Twitter last night when his Gandang Gabi Vice guesting was aired. He's quite a hot item in the Philippines as of late due to his Star Cinema movie titled Suddenly It's Magic which is currently showing in cinemas.

Together with Mario in the GGV episode was his leading lady in the movie, Erich Gonzales, and their costars Cacao and Joross Gamboa. As expected, Vice made the Thai heartthrob do stuff like dance the Gangnam Style, eat Filipino street foods and say such words as "save" and "eksaherada," among others.

Mario is so appealing to the eyes with his mixed Thai and German lineage. His tisoy looks made him an instant crush among Filipino girls and an instant favorite among showbiz enthusiasts. He actually broke into Philippine entertainment scene when ABS-CBN aired a Tagalized version of his teen romance movie Crazy Little Thing Called Love. He became more widely known when he was signed by local clothing brand Penshoppe as one of its international endorsers.

Nowadays, every news about Mario, be it in or out of the Philippine entertainment scene, is much-awaited by fans - just like his magazine covers that could be found in publications all over Asia. That said, here's Mario on the cover of Men's Health China magazine's May 2012 issue:
