Paulo Avelino plays the role of a born mute character named Apaw in this Saturday's episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya. He plays alongside Joem Bascon who portrays the role of his best friend Dante.
The episode is about friendship, and according to Paulo, the episode will make viewers realize the importance of having a real friend who will stick with you through ups and downs.
“It’s about the friendship between Apaw and Dante that will make viewers realize the importance of having a real friend who will never leave you amid life’s hardest trials,” the multi-awarded actor said about the episode.
This is his second MMK stint, two years after his first episode which was with KC Concepcion.
Meanwhile, this is also a reunion of Paulo and Joem who were both praised for their roles in the hit series Walang Hanggan.
The episode was directed by Raz De La Torre and also has Jewel Mische, Alma Concepcion, Ismael Clavero, John Vincent Servilla, Glenda Garcia, Tom Olivar, Jamila Obispo, Jerome Ventinilla, and Brace Henry Aquiza in the cast.
