Arisxandra Libantino gets standing ovation, two thumbs up from Simon Cowell (Video)

There’s another young singer that’s making us Pinoys proud, and she’s 11-year-old Arisxandra Libantino who auditioned for the seventh series of Britain’s Got Talent.

The young Filipina singer wowed the audience and the judges by singing Jennifer Hudson’s One Night Only. She exhibited such vocal powers which made the crowd cheer several times while she was singing.

At the end of her performance, the judges joined the audience in giving her a standing ovation. And yes, even the very picky Simon Cowell stood up and gave her a two thumbs up.

However, the performance didn’t go without some controversy as Mediawatch UK criticized that the song Arisxandra performed was an adult song not fit to be sung by a child. ITV, meanwhile, said the performance was “edited to ensure it was suitably inexplicit.”
