Alden Richards signs with Universal Records, to release an album soon

Alden Richards has recently signed a recording contract with Universal Records.

Present at the contract signing (as seen above) were David Fabros and Simoun Ferrer of GMA Artist Center, and Universal Records General Manager Kathleen Dy-Go and Operations Manager Peter Chan.

The Kapuso actor will be a certified recording artist as he releases his debut album in a few months. It will reportedly contain his favorite songs so it will surely be composed of covers.

It seems like Universal Records is investing on good looking, popular actors to bring in sales. Last year, they released Paulo Avelino’s self-titled debut album that was also purely composed of covers.
