Robi Domingo has been reported months ago to host The Voice of the Philippines, and then talks eventually turned to Robi and Toni Gonzaga. When ABS-CBN officially announced Toni as the show’s host, many of us wondered why Robi wasn’t even mentioned.
Good news, though, because Toni herself confirmed on Thursday that Robi is indeed part of the show.
"Robi Domingo is going to be part of the show and he is going to host the social media part of the program," she told reporters. "If you are aware of 'The Voice' sa States, 'yung umi-ere doon, they are very active on social media, sa Twitter, and Facebook. So 'yun naman ang iha-handle ni Robi. So he is also part of the show."
In the American edition of The Voice, Alison Haislip was the backstage online and social media correspondent during season one. In the second season, she was replaced by Christina Milian, who has been doing the job since.
So there you have it, Robi Domingo is now officially part of The Voice of the Philippines.
