Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar released a statement in answer to Sarah Lahbati’s tweets.
The statement reads:
“Sarah's tweets contain false and malicious claims and cannot be used to defend her actions. I have treated artists and all talent managers professionally, fairly and above board. Moreover, Sarah's projects and shows for the whole of 2012 easily belie her claims of being treated unfairly by the Network. I have already consulted my lawyers for any legal action that I can take against her.”
The GMA Network executive and GMA Artist Center’s Arsi Baltazar were the two names dropped by Sarah on her official Twitter account.
According to the Filipino-Moroccan actress, the two give protection to ICONS Management who does under the table deals in the television network.

Sarah said the two talked to her about signing a contract with ICONS in exchange for more projects and endorsements. However, ICONS will deduct another 15% from her earnings in addition to the 25% that goes to GMA-7.
But Sarah and her parents decided not to sign with ICONS and instead signed with Annabelle Rama’s talent management office, thinking that it was okay to ink management deals while being under contract with the Kapuso Network.
GMA-7, upon learning that Sarah signed with Annabelle, asked the actress to void it since her contract with GMA-7 states that she could not sign with other talent managers while she’s under contract with them.
The issue went as far as Sarah declaring on Twitter that ashe’ll be on a hiatus for a while and that she’d go back to school in Swtizerland. GMA-7, however, said it’s a violation of contract since they didn’t allow Sarah to have a leave because the reasons she told them were vague.
