Vice Ganda temporarily left It’s Showtime to address some health issues.
The comedian took to Twitter to tell his followers that his doctors has advised him not to talk so that he could rest his vocal chords. As a result, he decided to take a break from the noontime show.
In his series of tweets, he revealed that his vocal chords has polyps and the upper part is seriously damaged. If the voice rest wouldn’t do, he will have to undergo surgery.
GANDAng tanghali Unkabogables. Just woke up to take my meds. Its my second day of steroids and strictly no talk therapy.

Meanwhile, Anne Curtis is back on the show from days of photoshoot in Brazil. She even dedicated the song Missing You for Vice.
“Sana makatulong ‘yan girl para gumaling ka na,” Anne said, referring to the song. “As per doctor's advise namamaga pa daw ‘yung throat niya. Bakit kaya namamaga? Pero get well soon!”
