Kim Chiu, who recently turned 23, was a guest in The Buzz on Sunday, April 21, 2013, only a few hours following her riveting birthday production number in ASAP 18.
The Ina Kapatid Anak star cried while talking about how she loves her family and how she entered showbiz because she wants to give them a better life.
She also talked about not being used to having a lot of friends because her family moved a lot to different places when she was still young.
When asked about how difficult it is working with Maja Salvador in Ina Kapatid Anak, Kim said she just faced it with professionalism and her love for her job.
She and Maja, her former bestfriend, had a falling out in January when news broke out that Maja was dating Kim’s ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson. Kim was hurt in a way that she felt Maja broke her trust.
During the interview with Boy Abunda, Kim said she has already forgiven Maja but the hurt was still there.
“It’s easy to forgive,” she said. She admitted, however, that what happened was hard to forget. “Mahirap kalimutan ‘yung ginawa nila sa akin.”
Meanwhile, she refused to answer if she and current love team Xian Lim are already officially together. Laughing, she gave an indirect answer to the question.
“Hindi ko masagot ‘yan, e. Pero masaya ako na nandyan sya,” she said. “Thankful ako na nandyan s’ya for me.”
