Typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan) made a second landfall at 7:00 AM of Friday (November 8, 2013) in Tolosa, Leyte. It maintains its sustained wind speed of 235 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 275 kph.
The typhoon first made a landfall in Guiuan, Eastern Samar at 4:40 AM, Friday.
21 areas are now under Public Storm Warning Signal (PSWS) No. 4. Signal No. 2, meanwhile, has been raised over Metro Manila and several provinces around the area.
