Sharon Cuneta and former husband Gabby Concepcion said they won’t intervene in their daughter KC Concepcion’s love life and they are okay with whoever she is dating as long as she is happy.
The ex-couple were separately interviewed by Buzz Ng Bayan regarding the recent news that KC is dating the Honesto actor Paulo Avelino.
“Ayoko makialam,” the megastar said. “Pero okay lang sa akin basta masaya si KC. ‘Yun lang.”
Gabby echoed Sharon’s words, saying, “Basta kung sino ang mamahalin mo, at mahal mo okay sa akin yun. Basta ang importante doon, naipapakita nila ang concern nila sa isa’t isa.”
The When The Love Is Gone actor also said that he likes a kind and good-mannered man for his daughter. He liked how Paulo greeted him recently and it doesn’t matter if the young actor did that just because he’s dating KC.
In the same ABS-CBN showbiz-oriented program two weeks ago, Paulo admitted that he and KC are dating.
KC, however, reacted on Twitter making it clear that she’s not dating anyone exclusively, although she said that they are indeed going out.
Paulo eventually explained that he didn’t mean to make it look like they are already serious with the relationship and said that he only means they go out for dinners and they talk, but nothing more than that.
