Sarah Geronimo sang Radiohead’s Creep during Perfect 10, her 10th anniversary concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 15, 2013.
Before the performance, she told the audience that there are those who make her feel that way everyday.
“Isang araw, araw-araw, may nagpaparamdam sa ‘kin ng ganito,” she said, also asking the audience for prayers that she will be able to hit the high notes.
Creep is a song about feeling like a weirdo; about having lack of self-confidence.
Sarah did hit the high notes perfectly, of course, and after the rendition, she gave out a message to her bashers.
“To all my haters, I love you! Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for loving me a different kind of way,” shesaid.
She then sang a part of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit before going back to Creep to end the song with “I do belong here” (instead of the original line “I don’t belong here”) while pointing down to the stage she’s stepping on.
