Manny Pacquiao won via unanimous decision against Brandon Rios in the boxing match that was held on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena in Macau.

No knockout happened and it’s so bad because Bob Arum promised to rekindle the talks about the anticipated Pacquiao-Mayweather fight if the Pinoy boxing champ won via knock out against USA’s Rios.

It was a good fight, though, and those who were able to watch the game gave all the rounds to Pacquiao.

One of the three judges also gave it all to Manny, scoring 120-108 in favor of the Filipino boxer. The other two judges, meanwhile, gave 119-109 and 118-110 in favor of Pacquiao as well.

Pacquiao, 34, now has 55 wins (38 of which were via knockouts), 5 losses and 2 draws.

On the other hand, it was Rios’s 2nd loss. The 27-year-old boxer already has 31 wins with 22 knock outs.

Pacquiao dedicated his win to the victims of the super typhoon Yolanda, and with his win, he will surely be inspired to donate more.

Meanwhile, Filipino-American-Mexican Jessica Sanchez sang both the American and the Philippine national anthems. Her pronunciation of Lupang Hinirang was impeccable. In an earlier interview, she revealed that she was taught by her Pinoy grandmother how to sing the anthem.

The crowd also went wild when Miguel Cotto was flashed on the screen in between rounds. He got loud cheers, but not as much as the cheers received by Paris Hilton and David Beckham. No one, though, could beat the cheers for Pacquiao’s mom, Mommy Dionisia, when she was seen on screen.
