Paulo Avelino confirmed that he and KC Concepcion are dating.
In an interview with Buzz Ng Bayan on Sunday, he said that he and KC are friends and that they go out on dates. He, however, wants to “keep things private.”
When Paulo transferred to ABS-CBN, his first acting job was a Maalaala Mo Kaya episode opposite KC Concepcion.
“Matagal na kaming magkakilala. First work ko here sa ABS, ‘MMK’ with her. That was two years ago,” he shared when asked how long he has known the mega daughter.
Recently, however, KC and her sisters went out on a group date with NBA heartthrob Chandler Parsons. When asked if he got jealous, Paulo said he did not, especially that KC told him she and Chandler are just friends.
“Me as a person, hindi rin talaga ako seloso. I try to think about things first before I really say anything or just bring it out,” he said. “Nasabi naman niya yung totoo, [na they are friends] so wala naman siguro problema.”
Paulo already has a son with Kapuso actress LJ Reyes. He recently revealed, though, that he and LJ have already broken up.
He also wants to protect the privacy of his son because he wants him to have a simple and normal life.
Despite his break-up with LJ, however, they still remain friends for their son. He also said he spends a lot of time with the kid when he’s not working.
Paulo is currently seen in ABS-CBN’s newest primetime series, Honesto. It airs weeknights after TV Patrol.
