Don Allado fines P500k and 1 conference ban for PBA game-fixing controversy

The controversial Don Allado of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team Barako Bull Energy was made to fine P500,000 by the association for the allegations he made against it.

Allado’s message alleging PBA of game-fixing caused so much controversy and damage in the associations’ reputation.

Aside from the fine money, Allado also faces 1 conference ban without pay. That is despite the apology he posted on Twitter yesterday saying what he did was an “error in judgment” and that his passion in the game just got the best of him.

The cager, who is married to actress Maricar de Mesa, also faces penalties from his team’s management.
