Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap, lead stars of the hit noontime soap Be Careful With My Heart, thanked the televiewers for making the show successful.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat sa pagsuporta at pagtangkilik sa Be Careful With My Heart,” Jodi said.
The Kapamilya actress also talked about her character and promised that followers of the show will surely enjoy the journey of Maya, as well as that of Mr. Lim portrayed by Richard.
“Kumapit lamang po kayo at sinisigurado namin na mas mae-enjoy n’yo pa po ‘yong journey ng characters ni Maya at ni Mr Lim.”
After fourteen years in showbiz, this is the first lead role for Jodi in a television series. But as the saying goes, good things do come to those who wait.
But it was very different for Richard Yap who started his acting career last year when he did the role of the father for Kim Chiu’s character. Stardom has really come fast for the 45-year-old Filipino-Chinese from Cebu.
“We thank you so much kasi nand’yan ‘yong suporta n’yo para sa amin,” said Richard, who people still call Papa Chen courtesy of his My Binondo Girl character. “We hope na later on mas magustuhan n’yo pa ‘yong story kasi marami pang mangyayaring mas maganda.”
Be Careful With My Heart has been on top of the nationwide ratings nonstop since its second day of airing. It proved that the 10:45 AM timeslot is not a bad one for soaps, and that when the soap’s plot is good, people will watch it no matter what timeslot you air it on.
