Helen Gamboa rushed to the hospital after “Walang Hanggan” taping accident

Helen Gamboa was rushed to the hospital on Monday after figuring in an accident at the Walang Hanggan taping.

The veteran actress was immediately brought to the nearest hospital in Marikina City after co-star Richard Gomez accidentally hit her during a scene where he was shot.

“It was accident sa isang eksena namin,” Richard said in an interview with ABS-CBN News. “Kasi binaril ako, so pagtama sa akin bumagsak ako, eh si Tita Helen nasa likod ko.”

Richard further explained that he accidentally hit Helen while falling from the gunshot. The actress fell but luckily their co-actor Ogie Diaz was quick to prevent her head from hitting the floor.

The 64-year-old actress and wife to Senator Tito Sotto underwent a medical check-up and is now okay. Richard hopes the accident would have no complications on her condition.

The said scene where the accident happened will be aired on July 26.
