Princess And I teen star Khalil Ramos has released his first album under Star Records.
“This is an EP, which includes six songs, and it comes with a minus one,” Khalil said about the album.
Among the songs included in the release are Kung Ako Ba Siya? and Now We’re Together, which are both included in the Princess And I soundtrack. His version of I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing, which he sang in Pilipinas Got Talent, is also in the album, plus One More Chance and Simple Lang.
Although Khalil is now a popular teen actor, he was first seen on television as a singer when he joined the third season of PGT. But with his teen star appeal, acting opportunities were the first to come to the talented 16-year-old.
But is there a competition between Khalil and fellow Princess And I leading man Daniel Padilla who also recently released an album?
“Well sa amin wala namang competition in real life,” Khalil said. “I am happy for him na bumenta ’yung album niya and, of course, darating din ’yung time na magre-release ako so wala namang competition and we are good friends.”
But is he pressured with the release of his debut album since Daniel’s did well in the market?
“Of course, ’di matatanggal ’yung kaba,” he confessed. “I did my best and my 100% so sana magustuhan nila and kinakabahan talaga kasi you will never know, but I am just happy. Mabenta man o hindi, I am happy.”
