A magnitude-6.4 earthquake shook Indonesia on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
USGS data says the quake struck Simeulue, Indonesia at exactly 7:27 AM on Wednesday. Epicenter was traced 28 km (17 miles) northwest of Sinabang, the capital of Simeulue. It has a depth of 22 km (13.7 miles).
No damages were reported and no tsunami alert was raised.
