Mikael Daez and Andrea Torres will be paired for the first time to topbill the upcoming Afternoon Prime Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga.
Mikael broke into the acting scene last year with shows like Spooky Nights Presents: Bampirella, Amaya and My Beloved. He also appeared in the Regal Entertainment movie Temptation Island last year. This year he is included in the cast of the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry of GMA Films, Coño Problems.
Andrea Torres, on the other hand, just signed a three-year exclusive contract with GMA-7 last March 8, but she’s not really new on television. Aside from commercial modeling, she was one of the hosts of the defunct Ka-Blog and even appeared in the GMA Films movie You To Me Are Everything starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.
When asked what will be her edge among other young female talents of GMA-7, Andrea said it would be her acting style and bubbly personality.
