Heavy rains brought about by Typhoon “GENER” still hasn’t stopped causing flood in some parts of Metro Manila and several provinces in Luzon.
Some towns in Metro Manila have already announced suspension of classes for July 31, 2012 and the Department of Education has been busy gathering data from the LGUs to advice the public on the suspension of classes.
So far, towns who have declared suspension of classes for July 31, 2012 are as follows:
- Province of Laguna
- Province of Cavite
- Obando, Bulacan
- Dagupan City
- Valenzuela: Classes will remain suspended in the following barangays tom, July 31: Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Bisig, Coloong, Isla, Mabolo, Palasan, Pariancillo Villa, Pasolo, Poblacion, Polo, Tagalag, Wawang-polo, Dalandan National High School
This list will be updated as DepEd announces new info.
Department of Education has also suspended classes from Kindergarten to High School on Monday, July 30, 2012, due to heavy rains and flood. Majority of universities and colleges in Metro Manila have also declared suspension of classes for the day.
