Piolo Pascual topbills “Perya” (Benchingko Films)

Piolo Pascual stars in Perya, a short film produced by Bench as part of its 25th anniversary.

Perya is directed by Topel Lee from the script written by Marci Reyes. It also stars Sue Prado.

Synopsis:

A haunting love story set in a world where the grotesque is the norm, the hideous deemed beautiful. Here, Philippines' hottest heartthrob, Piolo Pascual, is a freak, a captive of a cruel circus. But when he finds love, he finds a glimmer of hope for escape.

Perya, as well as the rest of the Benchingko Films, will have a red carpet premiere tonight, 6 PM, at SM Mall Of Asia CenterStage. The short films can later be watched at http://www.bench.com.ph/benchingko/.
