Dennis Trillo stars in Ang Katiwala, an official entry to the 8th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival’s New Breed Full Length Feature category.
Written and directed by Aloy Adlawan, the movie also stars Ronnie Lazaro, Angelina Canapi, Althea Vega, Miggs Cuaderno, Neri Naig, Ernie Zarate, Shyr Valdez, Richard Manabat, Louella DeCordova, Aileen Lota and Dado Jose.
The story centers on Ruben (Dennis) who works as a caretaker of an abandoned property. He soon finds out the previous owner of the house is an important historical figure of the country. Ruben starts researching and becomes fascinated with the life of this person and gets haunted by his extraordinary legacy.
