Showbiz reporter Chito Alcid filed a complaint against Annabelle Rama on July 16, 2012.
The complaint was with regards to what transpired last Thursday at the wake of the Comedy King Dolphy where the talent manager embarrassed and disrespected him in public and even tried to hit him with what was reported to be a walking cane.
Alcid went to the Taguig police station and filed a blotter, saying that he doesn’t want to let the injustice pass without a fight.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, he described Rama in these words: “Bastos siya, walang modo, mahilig sa eksenang ganyan.”
And to Rama, he said, “Sukang-suka na sa ’yo ang industriya. Ikaw ang pambansang kahihiyan.”
Meanwhile, Rama denied she started the fight during a radio interview on Monday. She said Alcid went to the wake to provoke her.
“Hindi ako siraulo para gumawa ng ganun na hindi ako prinovoke,” Rama told anchor Korina Sanchez.
She also related that Alcid had been publishing below the belt stories in his column about her family for four months now, and further said the the reporter has no credibility and that no one was reading him.
