Bangs Garcia’s van was hit by a bus at the Elliptical Road in Quezon City on July 6.
The Kapamilya actress was on board her Toyota Grandia from a fitting in ABS-CBN when the vehicle was hit by a northbound Mafel bus.
The incident crashed the window near where Bangs was sitting but she was luckily not harmed.
“Car accident.i hate bus drivers here in d Philippines!Very arrogant,they think they're juz drivin a motorcycle!my window broken into pieces!” she tweeted.
The vehicular accident which took the life of young actor AJ Perez in April last year flooded her mind during the accident and Bangs said it was what saved her.
“Thank God. Naalala ko c aj perez eh kaya ambilis ng reflex ko,” Bangs replied to a tweet asking if she was okay.
The bus reportedly also hit an L300 van as it went out of control. The incident caused traffic in the area but the vehicles has been immediately removed.
Bangs Garcia is part of the hit afternoon series on ABS-CBN, Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo, which tells about a love triangle of overseas workers.
