ABS-CBN bags Gold Stevie Award at International Business Awards

After winning at the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards, ABS-CBN Corporation won the Gold Stevie Award in the Company of the Year – Media & Entertainment category at the 11th Annual International Business Awards. The awards night will be held in Paris, France on October 10.

Because of this win, ABS-CBN, carrying the name of the Philippines, will compete in the People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies in the Media & Entertainment category. It will be competing against the silver and the bronze Stevie winners from the UK and the US in the said category. The company that will garner the most number of votes will win a People’s Choice Stevie Award.

But while his fans admire his abs, James said he hasn't been at the gym for quite some time already because of his busy schedule. That will make you wonder how much more toned his body will get when he hits the gym in preparation for the Cosmo Bash.

The singer-actor revealed that, although it doesn't seem like it, he's a little nervous everytime he shows off his upper body. But when it comes to the Cosmo Bash, he has his TBYD co-star to encourage him.

"Joseph Marco is a good friend of mine, and he’s done it before. He said it’s really fun, and we’re doing it together so we’re both excited for September," James said in an interview with pep.ph.

Well, that said, can't wait for the Sept. issue of Cosmo.

Lyca Gairanod sings 'Wrecking Ball' to Mommy D (VIDEO)

Lyca Gairanod met Dionisia Pacquiao last Saturday and it was an added treat to those who came to watch the concert of "The Voice Kids" finalists.

The 9-year-old, who made a living out of scavenging trash in Cavite before she won the singing reality show, was first seen impersonating Mommy D during her guesting in "Gandang Gabi Vice" with the finalists.

She imitated how the 65-year-old mother of boxing champ Manny Pacquiao sang Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" in the same show last April.

Steven Seagal plays Alexander Coates in “A Good Man” where he meets Sasha Ivanov (played by Webster) two years after his voluntary recluse from his life as a Special Forces agent.  Sasha works as an enforcer for a Russian mobster known as Vladimir who is forced to pay off a debt from his father that has been passed down to his family.  When low level gangsters start turning up dead and money begins to disappear, Sasha  suspects that he is being set up to take the fall. And when his sisters Mya and Lena are kidnapped by Vladimir, Sasha turns to the only man who can help – Alexander Coates.

'The Maze Runner' - Meet the Gladers (VIDEO)

“The Maze Runner” is set to turn things in a dizzying blur as the teenage captives in a virtual prison known as The Glade run for a chance to save their lives. DZMM brings 'Buntis Congress' to Dipolog
