MRT gets derailed, hits Taft station barrier (VIDEO)

A Southbound Metro Rail Transit (MRT) train got derailed and crashed through the concrete barrier of Taft Ave. station on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the train knocked down an electric post and hit a number of vehicles when it ended up at the intersection of Taft Ave. and EDSA at around 3 pm.

Those that got injured in the incident were brought to the San Juan de Dios Hospital and Pasay City General Hospital.
