Mother Lily, Alfie Lorenzo gets in heated argument at 'Somebody To Love' presscon

Mother Lily Monteverde and Alfie Lorenzo had a heated argument on Thursday at the press conference of the movie "Somebody To Love" held at the mezzanine of the Regal matriarch-owned Imperial Palace Suites in Quezon City.

It was Alfie's referring to the movie's director, Joey Reyes, as "malas" that started the argument.

Mother Lily heard what Alfie said and confronted the showbiz reporter / talent manager.

"This is my place, don’t do that!" the lady producer said. "Bakit mo ba sinasabing malas-malas?"

The two were already talking with raised voices which hushed the other entertainment press.

"Bakit, ano mo ba yung direktor?!" shouted Alfie.

It was answered by Mother Lily with: "So what? That’s my decision to get the director."

But Alfie was insistent in saying the director is bad luck, despite the fact that the producer doesnt want to hear the word in her presscon. "Malas talaga siya!"

"You have no right to say that here! Bakit ka nagsasabi nang ganun? Last time, sinabi mo rin 'yan sa akin, tiniis ko na lang. You have no right," Mother Lily said, reportedly referring to a recent pocket presscon she held for Iza Calzado, one of the movie's stars.

Direk Joey was said to have disappeared from Iza's pocket presscon after Alfie said he was "malas."

Joey and Alfie's "misunderstanding" stems back to the time the director was still doing "Mga Mumunting Lihim" that stars Judy Ann Santos, a talent of Alfie.

The director failed to notify the manager that he's getting Judy Ann for his indie project, which made Alfie mad.

Joey, however, has already apologized for that, citing miscommunication as the reason why he wasn't able to ask the manager's permission.
