Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad will soon topbill the television adaptation of Inday Bote, a classic graphic novel created by Pablo S. Gomez.
The news was recently revealed by Wenn V. Deramas, who will be directing the upcoming fantasy series.
On Tuesday, during the press conference for the nearing finale of Galema which he also directs, Deramas said that he will immediately be busy doing Inday Bote right after Galema.
"May sisimulan kasi akong agad-agad, 'yung 'Inday Bote,' teleserye," said Deramas, as quoted by ABS-CBN News.
Inday Bote had been adapted into a movie in 1985. It was starred by Maricel Soriano, William Martinez and Richard Gomez.
Ilacad will play the role originally portrayed by Soriano but it has not been revealed yet whether Aguas will do Martinez or Gomez's role.
Aguas and Ilacad recently starred in a top-rating Wansapanataym special that ran for a month. Currently, the love team are seen Sunday afternoons in the youth-oriented program, LUV U.
