Matteo Guidicelli denied that he and rumored girlfriend Sarah Geronimo recently had a falling out because of the Popstar Royalty's parents.
"Falling out? Rumors are always rumors and basta everything’s positive and I try to keep it positive but it’s okay, everybody’s happy," the Kapamilya actor said during a presscon for his soon-to-end afternoon soap, Galema.
Geronimo's parents allegedly don't approve of him courting their daughter, just like the other men who came before him.
"Huwag na natin pag-usapan yun. Okay na yun. Like what direk Wenn (Deramas, director of Galema) always tells me, just always be honest with ourselves and if we do good, good things will come back to us. Yun lang, positive always,” Guidicelli said.
The rumored couple, however, were seen attending a church service together at the Victory Christian Fellowship.
"We just decided to go, that’s it. Yun lang," he said, talking about being seen in church together.
He also revealed that he is really a Catholic and he described going to Victory with Geronimo as "a different experience."
But how is his relationship with Mommy Divine, the singer-actress' mom?
"Wala, wala akong masabi dun po eh. Everybody can take care of themselves, 'di ba? And basta if we just respect everybody, everybody will respect us back," he said.
Geronimo recently cut her hair short, the shortest she had so far. It was rumored to be a form of rebellion because her parents won't approve of Guidicelli for her.
For the actor, though, Geronimo is at her prettiest with the short 'do.
"Sarah’s never looked as beautiful to date. She’s very beautiful with her short hair and she looks good and I’m proud of her. Like all of us would say and as I would say, she looks hot," he said, laughing.
