However, some netizens see Mateo as a disrespectful kid, mainly due to calling her mother by her first name, but I must say it really depends on which part of the world they live (like a Fil-British I personally know calls his dad "Clive," and that's his first name).
And babies really do that, don't they? They call people by what they hear other people call them. That's the reason why some fathers would call their wives "mama" or "mommy" (and mothers do the same with their husbands by calling them "papa" or "daddy") just so their babies would do the same.
