5th Golden Screen TV Awards winners list - Dennis Trillo, Carla Abellana win top acting honors

GMA-7's My Husband's Lover was a big winner at the 5th Golden Screen TV Awards held at the Teatrino Greenhills in San Juan City on Friday, March 21, 2014.

The hit series got top acting awards for Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo, Kevin Santos and Glydel Mercado. It also won the Outstanding Original Drama Program award.

Temptation Of Wife, meanwhile, was named Outstanding Adapted Drama Program. The series was an adaptation of the Korean series of the same title.

Joem Bascon and Iza Calzado won Best Actor and Actress, respectively, in a Single Performance for their roles in separate episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya, which also won the Outstanding Single Drama/Telemovie Program award.

GMA-7 was named Outstanding TV Network and was the biggest winner of the night with 26 awards, plus 2 more for its cable news channel, GMA News TV. ABS-CBN was not far behind with 22. TV5 got 2.

Golden Screen Awards is organized by the Entertainment Press Society (ENPRESS).
