DZMM helps Yolanda-affected students with 'Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na, Takbo Na' fun run

DZMM continues to advocate education by helping students affected by super typhoon Yolanda with a fun run called “Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na, Takbo Na,” which will be held on May 4, 4AM assembly time, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The fun run’s lone 5km category aims to raise funds for the scholarship of selected incoming grade one students from Yolanda-hit areas in the Visayas and other DZMM scholars.

Interested participants seven and years old and up may join the run.

To register online, just visit dzmm.com.ph.

The regular registration fee is P630, but an early bird rate of P550 will be offered to those who will register from March 17 to April 4 only. The fee comes with a race packet with a race bib, a singlet, and a finisher’s kit with a bullcap and towelette.

This is the fourth time DZMM is organizing a run to advocate education, following “Takbo Para sa Karunungan” that was held from 2011 to 2013 and benefited scholars from Ondoy, Sendong, and Habagat-affected areas.

DZMM started organizing fun runs in 1999, when it launched the “DZMM Takbo Para sa Kalikasan.” It was annually held until 2010 to support several campaigns for the environment, such as the continued rehabilitation of the La Mesa watershed and the Pasig Rehabilitation Project through ABS-CBN Foundation’s “Bantay Kalikasan.”

The on-site registration begins on March 24 at the ABS-CBN Tulong Center, Lopez Drive, Quezon City, Toby’s SM North Edsa The Block, Toby’s SM Mall of Asia, and R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street.

The registration form may also be downloaded from dzmm.com.ph.
