The voice of Yeng Constantino may be the one we currently hear singing the theme song of Dyesebel, but we may be hearing a different voice anytime soon.
According to Dreamscape head, Deo Endrinal, The Voice of the Philippines coach Lea Salonga will also record her version of the song with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra.
The song will be heard when Anne Curtis is already playing the mermaid role.
"Miss Lea Salonga together with ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra they will sing the teleserye theme song right when Anne is already Dyesebel. We are very happy with that development," Endrinal said, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.
Meanwhile, Curtis would also love to sing the theme song of her fantasy series but she is not pushing it, being aware of the limitations of her voice.
"Parang hindi naman maganda na habang duma-drama si Dyesebel ay boses ko ang naririnig, hindi ba?" Curtis said.
She has one song, though, that will be included in the series' soundtrack which will soon be released. The track talks about friendship and nature, particularly the sea.
"Mayroon akong isang kanta doon tungkol sa karagatan, tungkol sa pagkakaibigan at tungkol sa kalikasan. Masaya na ako doon kahit hindi na theme song, basta may one song," the actress said.
Dyesebel airs weeknights, right after TV Patrol, on ABS-CBN.
