Julia Barretto wants to follow Claudine Barretto's career path

Julia Barretto would like to be as fabulous as her aunt Gretchen Barretto and as successful in her showbiz career as her other aunt, Claudine Barretto.

The teen star is being launched in the fantaserye, Mirabella, which will start airing on March 24.

"Everything about her is fabulous," Julia said of Gretchen. "I want to be fabulous. And you know, kahit nagtatrabaho siya, ang energy niya go lang. She's so beautiful no matter how tired she is at mabait pa rin, generous at marunong makisama. 'Yun ang gusto ko."

When it comes to her career, though, she would love to have hit teleseryes and movies just like Claudine.

"Kung career 'yan, honestly sa Tita Claudine ko, I'm such a fan of her teleseryes and movies. All are very nice. I'm such a fan of Tita Claudine kaya career niya ang gusto ko," she said.

She added, however, that she still has no communication with Claudine.

Claudine had a falling out with her sisters Gretchen and Marjorie (Julia's mom) and it was much-publicized because they use the social media to throw words at one another. They're still not in good terms up to now.

Julia is positive, though, that everything will be okay soon.
