Marian Rivera reacts to Anne Curtis as new Dyesebel

Marian Rivera described Anne Curtis as very beautiful and lovable in a recent interview where she was asked to comment on the actress who will soon be seen on primetime television as the new Dyesebel in ABS-CBN's adaptation of the Mars Ravelo classic.

Rivera herself played the Filipino mermaid role back in 2008 in GMA-7's adaptation of the graphic novel.

The Kapuso actress only had nice words for Curtis, whose Dyesebel is set to premiere on March 17.

"Si Anne, mabait siyang kaibigan. Sobrang bait niyan sa akin. Kasi sa Instagram, makikita niyo na nagpapalitan kami ng mga message namin sa isa't-isa," Rivera said as quoted by ABS-CBN News during the press event of one of her product endorsements.

She also added that Curtis is very fit for the part and there's nothing wrong with her doing the much-coveted mermaid role.

"Wala akong nakikitang masama na, alam mo 'yun, maging Dyesebel si Anne," Rivera said. "Dahil Anne is very beautiful, napaka-lovable ni Anne, at bagay siya bilang Dyesebel."

ABS-CBN's Dyesebel also stars Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby as Curtis' leading men, as well as Andi Eigenmann, Dawn Zulueta, Ai-Ai de las Alas, Gabby Concepcion, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Eula Valdez and a lot more.

It will be taking the timeslot to be left by Honesto which is ending this Friday.
