Star Cinema has released the full trailer for Bride For Rent, the movie outfit’s opening salvo for 2014. It is topbilled by the love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, whose first movie together, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?, was a big hit in August.
The trailer starts with Kim, together with other girls, auditioning for a role. Little does she know that she will be portraying the role of Xian’s (fake) wife, as Xian needs to get married to get his inheritance from his grandmother portrayed by Pilita Corales.
You won’t help but laugh watching the trailer, it is even funnier than Bakit Hindi Ka Crush? (IMO). Needless to say, it has a big chance of surpassing the box-office success of their first movie.
Directed by Mae Czarina Cruz, the movie also stars Martin Del Rosario, Lloyd Zaragoza, Matt Evans, Eda Nolan and Tirso Cruz III. It hits theaters January 15, 2014.
