Ten Miss Universe 2013 candidates were recently chosen to participate in an event at the Nobu Moscow restaurant.
Miss Philippines Ariella “Ara” Arida was one of the chosen ten delegates. Joining her were Miss Peru Cindy Mejia, Miss Japan Yukimi Matsuo, Miss Puerto Rico Monic Perez, Miss Ukraine Olga Storozhenko, Miss Russia Elmira Abdrazakova, Miss France Hinarani de Longeaux, Miss Spain Patricia Rodriguez, Miss Dominican Republic Yaritza Reyes, and Miss Czech Republic Gabriela Kratochvilova.
Nobu is one of the sponsors of Miss Universe 2013. It is owned by Japanese chef Matsuhisa Nobu, who is one of the judges come pageant night.
The 64-year-old celebrity chef and restaurateur is known for his fusion cuisine blending traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients. He is known for his signature dish, black cod in miso.
