Lea Salonga’s team had a three-way battle with RJ Dela Fuente vs. Juvie Pelos vs. Rainier Acosta singing Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On.
Juvie and Rainier did well with their high notes but Coach Lea looked more in to the interpretation of the lyrics.
“It’s about the material, it’s about the song, it’s about the lyrics,” she said, taking into consideration that What’s Going On talks about a protest of what’s going on in the world.
In the end, she went for the restrained interpretation of RJ, sending Rainier and Juvie home.
