Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano faced each other in court on Thursday morning for the hearing of Sunshine’s petition for a Permanent Protection Order.
Cesar arrived with their three kids whom Sunshine haven’t seen since July 29.
The closed-door hearing at the sala of Judge Fernando Sagun lasted for two hours, but both parties wouldn’t talk about the proceedings.
The kids were seen leaving with their mother after the hearing and if that’s any indication of what transpired, it was Sunshine who won in that aspect.
It’s still not known, however, whether the actress was given full custody.
On Tuesday, Sunshine filed charges against Cesar under the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act. Her claim to have been raped by her erstwhile husband on Mother’s Day hit the headlines.
In Unang Hirit on Wednesday, Cesar’s lawyer, Atty. Joel Ferrer, said his client didn’t rape the Dugong Buhay actress. Cesar was allegedly invited by Sunshine for dinner that night and it went smoothly that’s why it eventually led to a sleepover.
